 The Basic Package is an optimal Business Management System for small businesses with existing network and computers.
The business can have LAN (Local Access Network) installed in their office, or the network can be built based on Accuserver®.
The network can be wireless or wired, PC, Mac or Linux based. There is only one condition for the network - it should support the TCP/IP protocol.
Accuserver® Management System can be easily and flawlessly integrated into your existing network and become the heart of the small business.
The package has all the main modules of Accuserver® and the same functionality as its “Big Brothers” – Professional and Enterprise packages. Many small businesses do not need all extended features of Professional or Enterprise Packages and Basic Package is perfectly suitable for their needs.
If your office is located in the states of NY, NJ, CT or PA we can deliver it to your door and setup the whole LAN for you (additional fee applies).
THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE BASIC AND PROFESSIONAL LAN OR ENTERPRISE PACKAGES:
- You have to have your LAN in the office, or you will have to build your LAN (by yourself or with the help of a professional service).
- Your Accuserver® Tower will be under our warranty, but for the LAN troubleshooting you"ll have to outsource to some professional service.
- Basic Package does not have any additional hardware components.
- Basic Package has Intel® Pentium 4 530 (HT) 3.0 GHz processor, 2 (two) 80 GB hard disks and CD-RW for backup and archiving.
- The system makes incremental backups every 15 minutes, but for daily/monthly backups and archives you have to use an embedded CD-RW drive.
- Basic Package does not have an embedded automatic Timeclock, so the working hours of your employees would have to be entered manually.
- You can not access your server from the outside of your office via the Internet.
- Basic Package has 3 (three) user licenses. We have our specific licensing policy. You will get three simultaneous connections rather than three licenses that belong to the specific workstations. In other words, in your office you can have as many workstations as you want, but only three workstations can be connected to the Accuserver® Management System at the same time.
- Although the Basic Package has limited scalability, this is not a problem for the future of your business, because you can always upgrade your system to the Professional or Enterprise packages or simply buy additional licenses to add to your existing package.

- Up to 3 (three) computers (workstations)
- One professional laser printer.
- Router/switch to connect all computers, Accuserver® and the Internet into one LAN
- Your office should be wired.
- In order to build Wireless LAN you have to have Wireless Access Point/Gateway/Router/Firewall. All workstations must have wireless cards
- In order to have 24/7 online support, e-mail and regularly receive automatic updates a broadband Internet connection is required (DSL or Cable)
- In order to accept credit cards you have to be subscribed to a merchant account with one of the major Credit Card service providers
